Beneficial Farms CSA works with the Milagro Community Garden in Santa Fe and the Eldorado Community Garden. Steve Warshawer will provide gardening support through this website under the “Ask Steve” menu and may teach a class in the spring.  Let us know if you are interested in a gardening class at

Garden Planning

As you are planning your garden, we understand you want to plan your plantings around what the CSA will provide.  We will discuss the CSA projections at the classes.  You can also review our WEEKLY SHARE menu for the summer months to get an idea of the greens, root vegetables, squash and other fruits and vegetables.  Email me at if you have questions.

Many of our long-time CSA members are gardeners and we find that they appreciate receiving local food and provide great personal recipes.

Garden Events 2013

Home Grown New Mexico is a new non-profit in Santa Fe started by CSA Member Amy Hetager and other local gardeners. They connect gardeners and urban farmers to local business, organizations and education events.  Check out the community calendar of all gardening, beekeeping and backyard chicken coop classes and events in Santa Fe, Northern New Mexico and Albuquerque.

Gardening is actually my own hobby because it really helps me to enjoy and relax. I like to grow flowers both indoors and outside. My personal favorite plants are generally tropical decorative plants and flowers as well as fruit bearing plants.
