Roasted Radishes and Turnips

Roasting food in the summer may seem like an odd turn of events, but it is a great and different way to enjoy the radishes and turnips.  I usually grow radishes in early spring to have a snack in my garden.  100% of my radishes are eaten with a little dirt.  They don’t require a recipe and in this entry from the White on Rice blog discusses eating them fresh as well.  The roasting does a nice job to the flavor.  Enjoy.

    If you are a Francophile, like myself ,you can always enjoy your radishes like the French do:cut up with a little salt on a buttered baguette: yum!
