Community Homesteading Potluck Gatherings Start March 29 for
the non-profit Home Grown New Mexico
Grow, Raise, Cook, Preserve
Teach, Learn, Mentor, Share
The Santa Fe Complex and Home Grown New Mexico announce the beginning of Community Homesteading Potluck Gatherings on March 29th at 7pm at the Santa Fe Complex. They will continue on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
The goal is to bring individuals together to organically create an environment of education between the different levels of experience. Come if you are a novice, an expert, or anything in between. Bring a dish to share with the group. Please provide your own utensils.
Come support CSA Members Amy, Jen and Zahira who are hosting the event from Home Grown New Mexico.
The Santa Fe Complex is located at 632 Agua Fria Street with parking off Romero Street and visit http://sfcomplex.org/ for more details. For more information on the potlucks, visit www.homegrownnewmexico.org or call Amy Hetager at 473-1403.
Home Grown New Mexico is a charitable non-profit organization. They produce events that educate and promote the awareness of nutritious, home grown food. Home Grown New Mexico creates venues where individuals, businesses and organizations that support home grown food production can exchange products, ideas and expertise. The vision is to enable New Mexicans to take personal responsibility for growing, raising, making and storing healthy food. In 2011, they have kitchen garden & coop tours and education sessions scheduled in addition to the community homesteading potluck gatherings.
