Gardening This Spring With Steve

Plan your gardens with soil preparation and planting classes

Photo by CSA Member Tom Engel

Do you want to learn more about growing your own food this spring?  We have planned a Garden Outreach Program where Steve will discuss soil preparation, planting beds and some ways start the season with row covers.  We have several gardeners as CSA members and have plans to show you what you can grow that will compliment the weekly CSA shares.  Last year, Steve provided workshops, supply advice and hands on experience at Santa Fe Community Gardens.  These classes helped CSA members and community garden members increase their tomato plants and yields of other vegetables.  Many of the class themes were question and answer format.

There is a GARDEN menu at the top of the blog.  This will be updated with all of our Garden Outreach activities at the community gardens and Mesa Top Farm.
