Here is additional information on the apple butter from Steve:
We made aple butter from the extra pink lady apples. We have enough apples to make one more batch
These are NOT pressure canned but are sealed well. We recommend storing in the fridge and eat within a month of when you open. They should store easily for a month, maybe longer, with seal intact, so you can save for a while before diving in! Of course fruit will be scarce for a while. I will go to Shiraz also today and see their apricots. If they have not frozen we will see apricots in June.
